Maroc: appel à la démission du gouvernement après une nouvelle journée de mobilisation
Au Maroc, après les violences de mercredi soir qui ont coûté la vie à trois protestataires, abattus par des gendarmes, la GenZ 212 avait appelé à de nouveaux rassemblements, affirmant rejeter « toute forme de vandalisme ou d’émeute ». Pour le sixième jour consécutif, des manifestations ont eu lieu jeudi 2 octobre pour réclamer une réforme du système de santé publique et du secteur de l’éducation. La plupart d’entre elles se sont déroulées dans le calme.
Au Maroc, le mot d’ordre a cette fois été respecté, rapporte notre correspondant de retour de Rabat, Matthias Raynal. Les manifestations pacifiques ont été plus encadrées pour prévenir tout dérapage. Le collectif avait appelé à se réunir dans plusieurs grandes villes – pour des sit-in et non pas des marches – et à limiter la durée des rassemblements entre 17 heures et 20 heures.
La journée du jeudi a commencé par les déclarations du chef du gouvernement, les premières depuis le début des manifestations. Aziz Akhannouch a assuré avoir suivi « les développements malheureux des deux derniers jours ». Il assure que son gouvernement a « interagi avec les revendications exprimées par la jeunesse et annonce être disposé à dialoguer ».
Le collectif « GenZ 212 », récemment créé, a cependant appelé dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi à la démission du gouvernement. « Nous demandons la dissolution du gouvernement actuel pour son échec à protéger les droits constitutionnels des Marocains et à répondre à leurs revendications sociales », a déclaré GenZ 212 dans un communiqué adressé au roi du Maroc, Mohammed VI, appelant aussi à l’ouverture d’un « processus judiciaire équitable » pour poursuivre les responsables de corruption.
