Sénégal : l’Assemblée nationale examine ce vendredi une proposition de loi qui sanctionne l’absentéisme au Parlement

Au Sénégal, l’Assemblée nationale examine, ce vendredi 08 mai, une proposition de loi organique portant modification de l’article 118 du Règlement intérieur de l’Institution. Cette loi, qui sera adoptée sans surprise en raison de la large majorité du parti Pastef (initiateur de la proposition), vise principalement à sanctionner l’absentéisme des députés et à réformer l’article 118. Cette réforme fait suite à une plus large révision entamée en 2025 pour renforcer le contrôle parlementaire et la transparence.

La proposition actuelle vise à introduire des sanctions concrètes contre les députés absents, après le constat d’un absentéisme permanent au parlement.
