Journées sans ticket : le COUD ferme ses restaurants universitaires jusqu’à nouvel ordre
Le Centre des Œuvres Universitaires de Dakar (COUD) a annoncé la fermeture immédiate de l’ensemble de ses restaurants universitaires, suite à des actes qualifiés de sabotage ayant gravement perturbé le fonctionnement des services de restauration destinés aux étudiants.
Dans un communiqué publié ce 6 février 2026, la direction du COUD indique que d’importants efforts humains, matériels et financiers ont été consentis ces dernières années afin d’améliorer durablement la qualité de la restauration universitaire. Toutefois, ces investissements seraient aujourd’hui sérieusement compromis par des actions menées dans le cadre des Journées Sans Tickets (JST), attribuées à un groupe d’étudiants.
Selon le document, ces agissements sont jugés « inqualifiables et insoutenables » par l’administration du COUD. Ils affecteraient non seulement le bon fonctionnement des services, mais entraîneraient également la dégradation des infrastructures et un impact financier important sur l’institution.
Face à cette situation, et conformément aux instructions du Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation, le COUD affirme qu’aucune Journée Sans Tickets ne sera désormais tolérée. En conséquence, la direction a décidé de fermer tous les restaurants universitaires jusqu’à nouvel ordre.
